CREA
MEET JUSTINE
MY STORY
Being skeptical and questioning everything is something I encourage. The world of healing is full of incredible adventure, transformation, discovery, and experiencing love on a level that is beyond what most of us could ever imagine. It's also full of traps, pitfalls, dysfunctions, making mistakes, misinformation, and people who will take advantage of others. How I got here and why CREA was created is a living example of how intentional and empowered healing can completely change one's life. It also shows that it can look completely different from what you might expect or what you see promoted on social media. How rough things used to be: -chronic panic attacks that started at an early age and went on for decades -chronic health issues, digestive issues, IBS, nausea, skin conditions, cysts, ovarian cysts, body convulsions -intense periods of self-hatred and depressive episodes -relationships with romantic partners that involved domestic abuse & substance abuse -debilitating costochondritis (inflammation in the cartilage where your ribs join your sternum) -massive blowouts of road rage -doctor visits, specialists, decades of therapy, and meds that often did more harm than good and never resolved the deeper issues -heavy cigarette smoker -working jobs that left me more unhealthy, more burnt out, and exploited -constantly feeling lost in life, overwhelmed, and afraid of everything while being exhausted trying to mask and hide all the fear and anxiety because I didn't want to be judged or rejected The list is longer.... but yeah, you can see it. I was hurting, in a big way. Most of us are.
MY RECOVERY
I truly believe that Western medicine has its place. If my limb gets ripped off in an accident, no amount of breathwork or meditation will reattach my arm. I have the utmost respect for surgeons and many clinically trained healthcare professionals. I LOVE science and research. That being said, most of us have been so disempowered and disconnected from our own healing abilities that serve us on a day to day basis. The surgeon might reattach my arm, but the healing process from that trauma has only just started. One day I was sitting in a garage, exhausted and drained from a panic attack episode. I had this realization. There was a pattern to the suffering I was experiencing, the more I started to think about it, the more obvious it was that I was stuck in some kind of a loop. Things were repeating themselves over and over again. The domestic violence was following me around like a shadow, new partner, same problem. Same thing with the "new job" quickly turning into the "old issue". The doctor visits were only providing temporary relief, over and over again.  So I decided to get help. It started with talk therapy, years and years of CBT, and Psychotherapy trying to figure out what was going on. Some therapists were great, some did more harm than good. A little progress here and there. But after years of traditional therapy, I was starting to wonder if there was something better. It was also eating up all my financial resources and didn't feel very sustainable. So I decided to explore what else was out there in the world when it comes to healing.  And there is A LOT! So many things that I had never even heard of before.  I started exploring more common and scientifically supported healing modalities like physical therapy, breathwork, yoga, nutrition, and nervous system regulation therapy. I also started exploring more "woowoo" and lesser-known modalities like energy work, sensory deprivation tanks, craniosacral therapy, altered states of consciousness, hypnotherapy, vision quests with no food or water for days alone in a remote canyon... and a lot more in between. The more I tried, the hungrier I got. And then I quickly faced the "fix it" trap that many people go through when diving deep into the world of self-improvement, self-help, and healing. (I go more into detail about the "need to fix" trap in 1-1 sessions and in the mini-guide ) All the trial and error I was doing in the "healing world" started to pay off dramatically. Every aspect of my life has changed beyond what I had ever imagined. But something really surprised me about it all. We see it on social media, movies, and even promoted by"healing businesses"... this one thing (insert here) WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.  Things like Ayahuasca retreats are becoming hyper trendy, promoting the idea that this one peak experience is the holy grail to fix your life, solve all your problems, and cure all your pain. And while I have personally experienced the benefit and value of having "big" peak "transformations", it's not what brought the most healing into my life. Sometimes it even slowed down the process. It wasn't until I started to deeply understand and embody the integration of healing into my day- to-day life over a period of time that big changes started unfolding. It wasn't the big, fast, immediate, intense stuff that gave me the most change. It was actually the practice of subtle but powerful micro shifts on a consistent basis. Like learning how to drive a car. What takes a lot of effort and practice in the beginning, alchemizes into a way of life that becomes muscle memory. We are also starting to see the negative effects of people going through these intense "peak" experiences, especially with psychoactives. People often have no guidance or support on how to safely integrate these experiences, and the consequences can be serious, life-threatening, and cause long-term damage and deep trauma. I talk more about this in the safety first section of the Healing Guide.

Why don't you use social media?
Social media can influence us in a lot of unhealthy ways.

I regularly see the urge to be "liked" or to mass-market content turn even high-quality content into something that has a lot of negative effects, especially when it comes to wellness/healing.
Social media is also full of fake accounts and people who promote practices they know very little or nothing about.

I genuinely feel that some people do use social media to help others without getting sucked into the comparison and judgment mindset, burning themselves out in the pressure to constantly perform, turning healing into a car sales pitch, or becoming self-conscious by ugly comments. Internet trolling can be brutal. But I think those people are very rare.

Instead, I use other outlets and means of getting the word out that CREA exists, that it's here to support you.

And I'm always surprised by how many people connect with me without needing to use social media.

I might change how I feel about this in the future. But for now, I'm happy not using social media. I have a personal Instagram account that I use to connect with my grandmother and close friends.

Some people see not having a presence or following on social media as a red flag and I completely understand why. There are lots of scams and fake identities popping up everywhere, especially with AI.

To make up for this, I offer anyone who wants to work together full access to all my background checks and verifiable employment history. I also meet people on zoom/in-person and provide real testimonials from actual people who have worked with me, and endorsements from other professionals.

Q & A
How much do your services cost?
Making these healing modalities accessible to anyone, especially during financially challenging times, is really important to me.

I completely understand why some people charge the rates they do. Becoming highly skilled in these modalities often requires years of dedication and more money than you could imagine. My Guided Imagery certification alone through the AGI academy costs $4,000. and that's just one of many certifications, trainings, and mentorships I've done.

CREA was created as a way to help people explore the healing process for free.

Personal one-on-one sessions are all sliding scale/donation based.
