THE FEMININE
What is healthy feminine embodiment?

Those words mean many different things to many different people. We hope to provide you with the resources, information and community you need to discover what that means for you.
Masculine + Feminine are on a spectrum.

What makes something more masculine or feminine?

As humans, we have both male and female hormones. People who are born male also have estrogen (a female hormone) and people born as female have testosterone (a male hormone). Even people who are born intersex, that have reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit into an exclusively male or female (binary) sex classification have both estrogen and testosterone. And people who change genders also have both.
There are many other hormones that play a role in the production of female and male anatomy. These hormones affect our emotions, behaviors, and how we move through life, our overall presence or energy.

We now know that higher levels of one or the other can have direct effects on how our brains and bodies function and behave.

The feminine and masculine are opposite yet
complementary.
One cannot exist without the other; they are never separate. Both create a totality, a complete whole.

HEALTHY AND UNHEALTHY
Just like our hormones, when things get out of balance, we can quickly shift from a healthy to an unhealthy state of being.
When we observe the overall state of the world today, we can see direct correlations between the amount of war, greed, and sexual violence/predation as a result of excessive unhealthy masculinity.

In a world mostly built for the masculine, we have witnessed the feminine trying to free itself from oppression and abuse and correct this imbalance.
But resorting to survival strategies such as:
-retaliation against the masculine or
-becoming more like the masculine
are proving to be equally destructive and do not restore harmony between the masculine and feminine.

As of today, approximately 80% of all patients diagnosed with autoimmune diseases globally are women.

We have the opportunity to learn what healthy and unhealthy masculine and feminine expressions are and how we can turn the tides to bring the world into a healthier state, together, one step at a time.
HOW TO EMBOY THE HEALTHY FEMININE
LEARN, CONNECT, BLOOM
CREA offers community, resources, and events to help us learn about and explore what healthy femininity is, why it's important, and how that applies to our lives individually and as a global community.

From healing our traumas, especially those we carry in our wombs, to expanding women's rights and our safety around the world, to working with the masculine in learning how to provide a safe and nourishing environment for the feminine to thrive.

Visit our resources page to discover mentors, articles, videos, and more.

We are all in different stages of our learning and blooming cycle. Learning includes making mistakes and adjusting as we go.
This is also an invitation to practice being gentle with ourselves and each other on this healing adventure.
