WRITE TO HEAL
Write as if you're going to burn it
Writing to process and heal is known to work best when we focus all our attention on expressing ourselves.

Judging our handwriting, getting stuck on grammar, whether or not it makes sense, all of that is very common in the beginning. Most of us spent years in a school system that drilled into our heads: writing = work, graded work, pass or fail work, a reflection of our self- worth, and that it would be read, critiqued, and judged by someone else.

This is a great opportunity to practice giving yourself permission to let all that go and to be gentle with yourself if you get frustrated with these blocks. Releasing old habits can take time and practice.
You can even literally burn your writing after you've finished. The exercise of writing something to intentionally burn it is commonly used in several therapeutic writing methods, and for good reason.
