MINI GUIDE

BREATHWORK

Start with the gentle and simple stuff

Your body is unique. It has specific needs and those needs are in a constant state of change, moment to moment. Never trust anything that is a "one size fits all approach".

For example, Wim Hof's teachings when it comes to breathwork are incredibly effective, scientifically studied, and have become very popular. But when I started taking his program and doing some of the exercises, I would go into a full-blown panic attack, over and over again. It sometimes took days for me to recover.

His approach was not compatible with how dysregulated my nervous system was. After my nervous system started to recover from other healing practices, then my body was able to benefit from his teachings.

But even after years of practice, my body still prefers more gentle and simple breathwork techniques which can be just as powerful. Wim Hof has helped thousands of people recover their lives and their health through his breathwork teachings and I'm a big advocate of his work. But this experience was a great lesson.

Ease yourself into it and listen to your body.
